I like watching Netflix and long times ago I watched 'Knock Down The House' starring Alexandria Ocasio-Cotez. This film shows how did three women run for the congress election in USA.
At the beginning of film, Alexandria Ocasio-Cotez was working as bartender at the bar for gathering the money for her election.
And it showed her private stories such as family especially her relationship with her father who died as cancer and her difficulties confronted as female candidate.
Finally she was elected as congresswoman at New York. It was so much dramatic and impressive,, also made me tears up..
A glass ceiling(유리천장) is everywhere..And so many women are trying to break this 유리천장..Furthermore Korea has the other big problem in these days which is 계층갈등( conflict between social strata ).
Now, Korea is in the progress of primary election for next president. Each candidates pledge and promise to get rid of 유리천장, 계층갈등 and other social problems..
But we don't trust any more their Big Mouth which is just talking but no action...
백마디 말보다 한번의 실천이 중요하다..
