영어의 완료시제
완료시제(Perfect tense)
Most of Korean people who try to learn English don't understand the perfect tense(완료시제).
In Korean language, there are three tenses such as past, present and future, but not the perfect tense.
I have finished cooking. (나는 요리를 끝냈다(마쳤다)) - present perfect tense
I finished cooking. (나는 요리를 끝냈다(마쳤다)) - past tense
As you can see above, Korean words are the same for the past and present perfect.
I have finished cooking already.(나는 이미 요리를 끝냈다) - I learned that because of 'already' the tense is 'have finished'.
Two counties have been at war since 1995.(두 나라는 1995년부터 전쟁 중이다) - I also learned that because of 'since' the tense is 'have been'.
He has been to Europe.(그는 유럽에 가 본 적이 있다.) - He is not in Europe.
He has gone to Europe.(그는 유럽에 가고 없다.) - He is in Europe.
English tense is very difficult for Koreans who learn English.
